Welcome baby "W"! | Southern California Portrait Photographer

When some of your best friends have a baby, there really is no other feeling in the world. I've known Michelle since I was 18 years old and a receptionist at a real estate office. Michelle became an instant friend and was even a bridesmaid in my wedding back in 2005. She and Myke got married just days before I gave birth to Reid, and I am so happy to share the photos of their first born, sweet baby W! He was just 8 days old when I got to meet him for the first time and take these photos. Michelle was a super woman and gave birth completely natural. I am so proud of the parents that they have already become and I can't wait to watch sweet W grow up into a lovely young man. Congratulations, you guys! I love you! PS - you may recognize Michelle and Myke from this session that I did for them last year. Michelle was actually a couple of months pregnant...no wonder she was glowing ;)

Another Boudoir Marathon in Sacramento! Sunday, April 17th

I have 2 spaces left for my next boudoir marathon in Sacramento! It is on Sunday, April 17th at a 4-star hotel in Downtown Sacramento. The cost is $350 for  a 1 hour session and includes a professional makeup artist, a CD of 25-40 images with print release and champagne. The normal cost for this session is $550, so booking on a marathon day is a great way to save some moolah! A 50% deposit is required to reserve your slot.

If you're interested, please let me know ASAP. My last marathon sold out in less than 24 hours. Once I fill up, I will start a wait list and may also consider adding another date. Again, there are only 2 spaces left for this date.

Thanks! bre@brethurston.com

Our family photos!

In November Will, Reid and I were lucky enough to find ourselves in front of Melissa Palomo's camera. Melissa and I met on a photography forum and our friendship came about after a single random act of kindness from Melissa. Since that time, we have grown to be great friends. I admire Melissa as a photographer and a person. One of her images is hanging over my desk as I type - the largest print I own, a 20x30, so that should tell you how much I love the photos that she did for us. Go and check them out HERE!!
