In Her Home | Southern California Boudoir Photographer

Meet K. K is a fellow photographer who wanted to give her husband boudoir photos for their anniversary in May. Well, you might be noticing right now that it is still APRIL. Well, she was so excited to give them to him that she went ahead and gave them to him early! haha. That totally sounds like something I would do ;) A lot of my boudoir clients save their photos for a special occassion, some of them even keeping the photos secret for several months. I don't know how they do it! I really love shooting boudoir sessions in hotels, but there is also something great about shooting in someone's home. K had a great floor mirror that we used for her session. We also did a cute little note which is something I might not have thought of if we were shooting in a hotel.

I am so glad that K loves her photos and she says that her husband does too. Duh! ;)

Kelly & Patrick's Engagement Session

This session went flawlessly until I woke up about 8 hours later itching from head to toe. Poor Kelly and I were eaten alive by mosquitos! We noticed them around while we were shooting but personally, I didn't think much of it. I feel so, so bad that I didn't realize how bad it was and that Kelly got so many bites (I counted and I had about 25 just on my arms and shoulders and she said she got about the same). I'm hoping that Patrick's friends don't make fun of him too much after seeing these photos. I hear that in their circle of friends the guys like to tease eachother about their engagement and wedding photos. I totally admit that I tried a really cheesy pose, but it was even too cheesy for me so I'm not going to include it. haha. I think Patrick's friends would have had a hay day with it and I don't want him to go through that ;) The most important thing is that your future wife looks amazing, right Patrick?! (hint: YES!)

Counting the Days | Riverside Portrait Photographer

Nikki and Olivia are patiently awaiting the return of their husband/daddy who is currently serving in Afghanistan. He should be home sometime this summer when we are going to do another session, a complete family session :) I can't imagine how hard it must be to be away from your family or to have to be home and raising your 15 month old virtually alone. I am so thankful for the sacrafice and I hope that these photos bring a smile to their faces.
