My husband, the romantic.

Last month Will started talks with a guy named Joe who wanted to propose to his girlfriend within an iPhone game. My husband is a programer/college student studying computer science and had just released his first game, Foozle. Joe loved the game and knew that his girlfriend would too, so Will agreed to design a special version of Foozle with a proposal built in. Joe was able to record a quick video of when he popped the question. Check it out! Call me a romantic, but I think it's pretty darn adorable :)

The story was picked up by several app related blogs and even The Huffington Post!

Family Sessions in Sacramento

Okay, I won't lie, I'm lazy so I'm going to combine three family sessions into one post. It's almost Christmas, so you understand, right?? :) It was a windy, cold afternoon in early December but even the young kids did great. I'm thankful that we at least had sun! Yes, all three of these family sessions were shot back to back. I love a busy day!

Edward & Laura's Engagement Session on the Queen Mary

When Laura first emailed me, I knew that I was dealing with a classy, timeless, unique couple. She and Edward are both professional performers and dancers. They make a point to go out at least once a month dressed to the nines - Laura in a beautiful dress and Edward in a suit or tux. Their wedding, planned for March, will take place onstage and I don't doubt that it will be an affair to remember. I am so excited! I want to disclose that this is NOT a stylized session - they really are this beautiful and classy :) They even brought their OWN vintage luggage. We got permission to shoot onboard the Queen Mary in Long Beach and I'm positive that it was the perfect choice for Laura and Edward's engagement session. It was like a throwback to a different era.
