Why I love the Fed/Ex Man

1- He delivers my photo goodies next day and at 2:00 on the dot, every day. I'm sorry, but the USPS will never be this reliable.2- He is always dressed so sharp. Orange and purple are so much more fun than BROWN. 3- Today he delivered the most AMAZING print I have ever seen.

It is the first time that I have seen one of my own images in a print of this size and finish. It literally took my breath away. Yes, I'll take that self delivered pat on the back!

I LOVE my print company. They do amazing work, and yes, you read point 1 correctly- all orders are delivered OVERNIGHT! I hate waiting, and I love that I don't have to make my clients wait either.

Melissa - Model Shoot

Okay, how fabulous is Melissa? We headed out to my new favorite location which either requires a fairly out of the way walk (as the crow flies, its about 50 yards from my front door) or a quick fence jump. Even though she was in a dress, she was down to hop the fence! Don't worry...completely legal. It's just the fence separating my housing development from the bike trail. As soon as I started shooting, I knew we had something special. Melissa is drop dead gorgeous, tall, and thin...so really, anything she did looked beautiful. I'm hesitant to do super close up headshots of people, but the headshot that we got of Melissa is by far one of my favorite images. Her eyes knock your socks off! I played around with the style a bit, channeling my inner "Vouge".

I'll admit, I haven't posted anything new in a while because, well, I've been lazy. ENOUGH! Today I declare: I WILL make time. *psst* It helps that my rambunctious 11 month old us napping happily in his room.

I'm feeling inspired today. My handsome husband finally joined the modern world and created a Facebook. He totally needs an awesome new pic for it. I'm hoping that he will let me drag him outside later this evening for a quick shoot. I'm still enamoured by the awesome field behind our new place. It's calling me.
