I love photographing this age! While I wouldn't say that I specialize in 6 month olds I always have a wonderful time because their little personalities are really starting to shine. Baby June was all smiles, seriously the happiest baby I've ever met. Funny story- on their way to the session baby June gave herself a dirty diaper so as they were unloading mama when to change her...but oops! They forgot diapers! Lucky girl June got to go comando for the session while her parents hoped and prayed that she wouldn't pee on them. haha. Well, let's just say some things are imminent, but not until the very end and we all had a good laugh :) She got to ride home with a t-shirt wrapped around her bum! I think that's something her parents will never forget :)
I've known Tori since we were both about 4 feet tall :) We have stayed in contact via Facebook and I was so, so excited when she and Jon got engaged! I never imagined that she would reach out to me to photograph her wedding but I felt extremely flattered. Both Tori and Jon are the most down to earth, sweet people you could ever meet. They met while in nursing school at Sacramento State and the rest is history.
The Firehouse is an amazing venue in our home down of Sacramento. No, it's no longer a firehouse but has been converted to a luxurious restaurant and wedding venue. I adore the courtyard full of the original bricks and how there are string lots draped around the huge trees. It's all so very romantic.
