The Lenzini Family | Anaheim Family Photographer

Elizabeth contacted me earlier this year, planning many months ahead for her family portraits. She has 3 young kids and we discussed how the session would go. We would let the kids play, be themselves, and capture their family interactions just the way they are. I love sessions like this the most. Not only do I love seeing how the kids personalities show through in the photos, but I also love to see how the parents come out of their shell. There is nothing that makes me happier than seeing a mom and dad smile and laugh with their kids. Now, don't get me wrong, Elizabeth and her husband probably left the session feeling like they just ran a marathon (wrangling 2 toddlers plus an infant is tough!) but at least it was worth it, right? :)

Now, check out this next series of events...

Ooooh, the life of a mom. Next time we'll leave dad at home, okay? ;)

Reid's 1st Birthday Party! | Riverside Photographer

My good friend and fellow photographer, Carrie Johnson, asked me to photograph her son's awesome first birthday party. Carrie is busier than nearly anyone I know - she's the mom of two young boys and runs two very busy businesses. How she had the time and energy to plan such a great party is beyond me, but she definitely pulled it off! The kids loved the Spiderman bounce house and the clown who did face painting and magic tricks. We also all left with great candy treat bags, so all in all, it was a great day!

The Glace Family | Southern California Family Photographer

Eek! I'm a little behind on blogging, which isn't usually typical for me :) Bobby just returned from Afghanistan a couple of months ago, an event that I was lucky enough to witness. While he was gone, I did a session for just Nikki and Olivia (seen here) so that Bobby would have some new photos of his girls while he was away.

I headed out to Twentynine Palms to photograph them as a complete family :) I find the desert to be so, so beautiful. I love the neutral colors and warm, gorgeous light.

Thanks guys for including me in your journey!
